Go Cashless with
Causeway Link
Starting 1 October 2026, Causeway Link will officially transition to a fully cashless payment system across all Cross-Border and Feeder Bus Services. Simply tap your contactless card or use the LUGO App to enjoy a quicker, safer and more convenient boarding experience. Tap. Pay. Ride.
Why is Causeway Link Going Cashless?
As one of the leading cross-border bus operators between Singapore and Johor Bahru, Causeway Link is committed to improving the passenger experience. By introducing cashless payments, we can reduce boarding time, minimise queues at busy boarding points, eliminate the need for exact change, and provide a faster, more seamless travel experience.
Whether you're travelling for work, shopping, leisure or visiting family, cashless travel helps you get to your destination more efficiently.
Cashless Implementation Timeline
The transition to a more efficient transit experience happens in two key phases.
Transition Period
Passengers are encouraged to begin using cashless payment methods early. Customer Service staff and Cashless Ambassadors will be available at selected locations to assist with downloading the LUGO App, purchasing tickets and using the new payment methods. Cash is still accepted during this phase.
Fully Cashless
Cash payments will no longer be accepted onboard all Causeway Link Cross-Border and Feeder Bus Services. Please ensure you have one of the accepted cashless payment methods before boarding.
