No. You pay the full bus fare. Maybank may award cashback later based on your monthly eligible spend, category cap and transaction eligibility.
In MYR. Causeway Link processes Mastercard bus fares in Malaysian Ringgit in both directions, so a Singapore-to-Johor fare still posts in Ringgit. Because it is a foreign-currency transaction, Maybank also applies its foreign transaction fee — currently 3.25% — on top of the converted fare.
No. Ringgit transactions earn through an automatic MYR category that sits alongside the five categories you select in the Maybank app, so your Causeway Link fares count either way. Picking Commute does not add a second rate to the same fare.
No. Each passenger taps their own card. One card pays one fare per boarding.
Yes. The fare appears in your Maybank card statement and app once it is processed. Cashback is credited by the next card statement and is shown separately from the fare.
