Pasir Gudang, December 11, 2025: Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd. conducted a dedicated community engagement and Kad Konsesi registration drive at Hospital Pasir Gudang on 9^th December, strengthening its commitment to making public transportation more accessible and affordable for key passenger groups in the region.

Held from 7:30AM to 5:00PM, the initiative took place alongside a Town Hall session by the Food Safety and Quality Division (BKKM) under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM). The KKM Town Hall, which focused on new requirements for exporting agricultural products to Singapore, attracted a high turnout providing Handal Indah with a meaningful opportunity to reach more members of the public and encourage the wider adoption of bus services.

The registration drive offered local residents the chance to sign up for the Kad Konsesi, a concession card designed to provide reduced fares for four key beneficiary groups:

• Senior Citizens (60 years and above)
• Persons with Disabilities (OKU)
• School Students (aged 7–17)
• University Students

This initiative aims to support passengers who frequently rely on Handal Indah’s routes within Pasir Gudang and its surrounding areas, particularly:

• J20 – JB Sentral ⇄ Terminal Bas Masai
• J22 – JB Sentral ⇄ Taman Scientex
• J205 – Terminal Bas Masai ⇄ Lotus Eco Tropics
• J200 – Loop service around Bandar Seri Alam with stops including SMK Dato Penggawa Timur, SJKC Nam Heng, and PPR Seri Alam

By expanding access to the Kad Konsesi, Handal Indah continues its effort to alleviate transport costs for the community ensuring that students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities can travel safely, freely, and affordably across the Pasir Gudang corridor. This aligns with the company’s long-term mission to promote sustainable mobility and improve the daily commuting experience for passengers in Johor.
