Johor Bahru, April 26, 2025:  In a meaningful collaboration blending environmental education with community outreach, Causeway Link partnered with students from UiTM Pasir Gudang for a Climate Change Awareness Campaign catering to Children with Disabilities.

The initiative, titled “Seavenger: Combating Climate Change Together,” involved an educational trip to Legoland Malaysia, aimed at promoting environmental awareness among children with disabilities (PWD). The program was organized and facilitated by a group of dedicated university students.

The event’s beneficiaries were children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Negeri Johor, a care home for children with special needs. To support this noble cause, Causeway Link provided OKU friendly transportation, offering accessible, wheelchair-equipped buses to ensure every child could travel safely and comfortably to the venue.

The Seavenger program was organized by UITM student to educate children on marine conservation, sustainability, and the role each of us plays in fighting climate change. Through interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and engaging presentations at SEALIFE in Legoland Malaysia, participants enjoyed a day filled with learning, fun, and discovery.

One of the key highlights of the event was the accessible transportation made possible by Causeway Link, of whom the buses are equipped with wheelchair access features and comfortable seating ensuring that no child was left behind due to mobility limitations.
