JOHOR BAHRU, 30 September 2025: Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd., the network operator of BAS.MY Johor Bahru, proudly took part in the Karnival Kebolehpasaran Murid Berkeperluan Pendidikan Khas Peringkat Kebangsaan Tahun 2025, held on 27–28 September 2025 at Toppen Shopping Centre, Johor Bahru.

As part of its ongoing commitment to inclusivity and community empowerment, Handal Indah set up a dedicated booth during the two-day event to facilitate on-site registration for the BAS.MY Kad Konsesi. The initiative was particularly timely and relevant to the event participants, as one of the key beneficiary groups of this program includes Persons with Disabilities (OKU community), who are entitled to enjoy free rides on all BAS.MY Johor Bahru buses.

This initiative reflects Handal Indah’s support for the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) program, an initiative by the Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) under the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT). The program aims to enhance accessibility and affordability for Malaysians across various social groups.

The BAS.MY Kad Konsesi was originally introduced in 2023 by YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia, during the official launch of the myBAS Konsesi, which has since been rebranded as BAS.MY Kad Konsesi in 2024. This card provides travel privileges to senior citizens, OKU, students below 18 years old, and university students holding SISWA cards.

As the official network operator for BAS.MY Johor Bahru, Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd. remains dedicated to reaching out to the community and promoting the benefits of the BAS.MY Kad Konsesi. Eligible individuals can register using their Malaysian IC, while those who prefer an alternative option can purchase the card (Kad Konsesi) for only RM10, valid for use as long as the program remains active.

For added convenience, registration can also be done through the LUGO app, the official Journey Planner app for BAS.MY Johor Bahru, allowing users to plan their journeys and access card services easily.

Through this initiative, Handal Indah continues to uphold its mission of supporting inclusive mobility and ensuring that public transport services remain accessible to all segments of the community.
