1. What is this campaign about?

This is a collaboration campaign between OCBC Singapore and Handal Indah / Causeway Link.

Eligible passengers can enjoy RM2 discount when they pay for eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus fares using a physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore.

2. What is the campaign period?

The campaign is valid from:

15 July 2026 to 31 December 2026

3. Who is eligible for this campaign?

Passengers who pay their eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus fare using a physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore are eligible for this campaign.

The card must be tapped directly at the onboard payment terminal.

4. What is the offer?

Eligible passengers can enjoy:

RM2 off per eligible Causeway Link transaction

The discount is capped at:

RM4 per cardholder per calendar month

This means each eligible cardholder can enjoy up to 2 discounts per month.

Limited redemptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the monthly promotion allocation and total campaign allocation.

5. Which OCBC Visa cards are eligible?

This campaign is valid for physical OCBC Visa Credit Cards and OCBC Visa Debit Cards issued in Singapore.

OCBC Visa Cards issued outside Singapore are not eligible.

6. Can I use Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay or mobile wallet?

No.

Payments made using mobile wallets, virtual cards, or digital cards are not eligible for this campaign.

This includes:

  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Samsung Pay
  • Any mobile wallet payment
  • Virtual card payment
  • Digital card payment

Passengers must use the physical OCBC Visa Card.

7. Are OCBC Mastercard or UnionPay cards eligible?

No.

Only OCBC Visa Cards issued in Singapore are eligible.

OCBC Mastercard, OCBC UnionPay, and other non-Visa cards are not eligible.

8. Do I need to register for this campaign

No registration is required.

Passengers only need to tap their physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore at the onboard payment terminal when boarding an eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus.

9. How does the RM2 discount work?

Simply tap your physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore at the onboard payment terminal.

If the card, transaction, and bus service are eligible, and the campaign allocation is still available, the RM2 discount will be applied automatically at the point of payment.

No promo code is required.

10. What does “RM2 off per CWL transaction, capped at RM4” mean?

It means passengers can enjoy RM2 discount per eligible Causeway Link transaction, up to a maximum of RM4 per cardholder per calendar month.

Example:

  • 1st eligible transaction in the month: RM2 discount
  • 2nd eligible transaction in the month: RM2 discount
  • Total monthly saving: RM4
  • 3rd eligible transaction onwards in the same month: no discount

11. Which bus services are eligible?

The campaign is valid on eligible Causeway Link Singapore-Johor cross-border bus services only.

The final eligible route list shall refer to the latest route information on Causeway Link’s official website.

12. Is the discount valid for both Singapore to Johor and Johor to Singapore trips?

Yes.

The campaign applies to eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus services in both directions:

Singapore to Johor and Johor to Singapore

This is subject to campaign eligibility, allocation availability, and system availability.

13. How does Causeway Link count the daily transaction?

For this campaign, Causeway Link follows its fare transaction counting mechanism.

One campaign day is defined as:

2:00 AM to 1:59 AM the following day

Eligible fares paid using the same eligible OCBC Visa Card within one campaign day will be treated according to Causeway Link’s fare transaction counting mechanism.

14. Is the RM2 discount guaranteed for every ride?

No.

The discount is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to:

  • Campaign allocation availability
  • Cardholder monthly limit
  • Eligible card usage
  • Eligible bus service
  • Successful transaction processing
  • Terminal, network, and system availability

Once the campaign allocation is fully utilised, the discount will no longer be available.

15. What happens if my fare is less than RM2?

If the eligible fare amount is lower than RM2, the discount will not exceed the actual fare payable.

No cash balance, refund, or credit will be given for any unused discount amount.

16. Why did I not receive the RM2 discount?

The RM2 discount may not be applied due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • You did not use a physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore.
  • You used Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, mobile wallet, virtual card, or digital card.
  • You used an OCBC Mastercard, UnionPay card, or non-Visa card.
  • Your OCBC Visa Card was issued outside Singapore.
  • You have already reached the monthly discount limit.
  • The campaign allocation has been fully utilised.
  • The transaction was unsuccessful, declined, reversed, cancelled, or refunded.
  • The bus service is not an eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus service.
  • There was a terminal, network, or system issue.

17. Can I combine this promotion with other offers?

Unless otherwise stated, this promotion cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers.

18. Can the RM2 discount be exchanged for cash?

No.

The RM2 discount cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, refund, or any other form of compensation.
