OCBC Visa x Causeway Link Bus Fare Discount Promotion

Eligible holders of a physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore can enjoy RM2.00 OFF on eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus fare transactions.

The promotion is available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to campaign quota availability.

Important:
The RM2.00 discount will be automatically applied when all eligibility requirements are met. No registration is required.

1. Definitions

For the purpose of this Promotion:

  • Handal Indah / We / Us / Our refers to Handal Indah Sdn Bhd (Company No. 199401001789 (287467-M)).
  • Campaign refers to the OCBC Visa x Causeway Link Bus Fare Discount Promotion.
  • Campaign Period means 15 July 2026 to 31 December 2026, or until the campaign rebate has been fully utilised.
  • Cardholder means a holder of a physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore.
  • Eligible Card means a valid physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore.
  • Eligible Bus Service refers to Causeway Link Singapore–Johor cross-border bus services listed on the official Causeway Link website.
  • Eligible Transaction means a successful fare payment made using an Eligible Card on an Eligible Bus Service.
  • OCBC refers to Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited.
  • Visa refers to Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited.

2. Campaign Mechanics

2.1 Promotion Discount

Eligible Cardholders will receive RM2.00 OFF on each eligible Causeway Link cross-border bus fare transaction when payment is made using a physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore.

The promotion applies to travel in both directions:

  • Singapore → Johor Bahru
  • Johor Bahru → Singapore

2.2 Campaign Period

The promotion runs from:

15 July 2026 until 31 December 2026

or until the campaign rebate has been fully utilised, whichever occurs first.

2.3 Discount Limits

  • Maximum 1 discount per campaign day
  • Maximum 2 discounts per calendar month
  • Maximum monthly savings: RM4.00

2.4 Campaign Day

A campaign day runs from:

2:00 AM (0200H) until 1:59 AM (0159H) the following day.

Example:

  • A payment at 1:30 AM belongs to the previous campaign day.
  • A payment at 2:30 AM belongs to the new campaign day.

2.5 Campaign Availability

The promotion is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once the monthly allocation or total campaign rebate has been fully utilised, the promotion will no longer be available for the applicable period.

3. Eligibility

To qualify, Cardholders must:

  • Use a valid physical OCBC Visa Card issued in Singapore.
  • Tap the physical card at the onboard payment terminal.
  • Travel on an eligible Causeway Link cross-border service.
  • Complete a successful payment transaction.
  • Stay within the daily and monthly campaign limits.

The discount is automatically applied during payment, subject to:

  • Card validation
  • System availability
  • Remaining campaign quota

4. Eligible Bus Routes

The promotion applies to Causeway Link Singapore–Johor cross-border bus services listed on the official website.

Eligible routes include (but are not limited to):

  • CW1
  • CW2
  • CW3
  • CW3L
  • CW3S
  • CW4
  • CW4S
  • CW4G
  • CW5
  • CW6
  • CW7
  • CW7L
  • CW7P
  • CWL
  • FC1

Route availability, stops, schedules and operating arrangements may change from time to time. Please refer to the official Causeway Link website for the latest eligible routes.

5. Exclusions

The promotion does not apply to:

  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Samsung Pay
  • Any Mobile Wallet
  • Virtual or Digital Cards
  • OCBC Visa Cards issued outside Singapore
  • Mastercard, UnionPay or other non-Visa cards
  • Non-eligible bus routes
  • Failed, cancelled, reversed or refunded transactions
  • Payments that are not eligible bus fares

Transactions exceeding campaign limits or after campaign quota has been exhausted will not qualify.

The discount cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or combined with other promotions unless otherwise approved by Handal Indah.

6. Discount Application

The RM2.00 discount will automatically be applied when:

  • All eligibility requirements are fulfilled
  • Card validation is successful
  • Campaign quota remains available
  • Payment is successfully processed

If the fare is less than RM2.00, the discount will only cover the actual fare amount.

No cash refund, credit or replacement benefit will be provided.

7. Cardholder Responsibilities

Cardholders are responsible for ensuring:

  • Their OCBC Visa Card is active and valid.
  • The card has sufficient credit or funds.
  • The correct physical card is tapped.
  • Mobile wallets or virtual cards are not used.
  • Fare amount and payment status are checked where available.

Handal Indah shall not be responsible if the discount is not applied due to:

  • Ineligible card usage
  • Exceeded limits
  • Exhausted campaign quota
  • Failed transactions
  • Technical issues
  • Non-eligible routes

8. Data & Privacy

Handal Indah may maintain records of eligible transactions for campaign administration.

Transaction information may be shared with Visa and OCBC for:

  • Campaign tracking
  • Reconciliation
  • Reporting
  • Audit
  • Fraud prevention

Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Handal Indah’s Privacy Policy.

10. General Terms

Handal Indah reserves the right to:

  • Amend these Terms & Conditions.
  • Suspend or terminate the campaign.
  • End the campaign earlier if the allocated rebate has been fully utilised.

Handal Indah shall not be liable for delays or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, border closures, network failures or payment system disruptions.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
